Grateful and excited for the upcoming solo exhibition 'Rough Metaphors' at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in Narrowsburg, NY, from February 10th - March 17th. The exhibit would be showing my sumi-e abstractions. Thank you, DVAA!
I had the good fortune to spend five weeks as an artist-in-residency at the MI-LAB's Lake Kawaguchiko studio in Japan as part of the basic training program in mokuhanga. Had a wonderful time with fellow artists from around the world amidst the bucolic setting and the spectacular scenery around Fujikawaguchiko. Learnt a lot, met wonderful people, did some crazy stuff - like a failed attempt to summit Mt. Fuji, ate a lot of delicious food, met-up with old friends, made new friends, fell in love with Japan (again!). Grateful and thank you for the opportunity!
